Pedro Acosta had an incredible champion season at MotoGP last year with KTM Satellite Team Tech3. But there is a team that will not reach the same heights in 2025.
The Spaniard has moved to the KTM factory team along with Brad Binder this year. The Austrian manufacturer had to move quickly to secure the future of Acosta after the sixth end of the sixth depths in 2024.
Acosta’s success was “dangerous” to KTM as it attracted interest from opposing teams. They will certainly still keep tabs for his status in the midst of the manufacturer’s financial problems.
KTM has the green light to fight in Thailand without the issue after the restructuring plan approach. But the competitiveness of their MotoGP groups has been called into question because of the situation.
Acosta tried to find answers by visiting the KTM plant in Austria off -season. While the company assured their riders of their commitment to fight, or they can fight on the front are unknown.

Keith Huewen ‘Pretty Conident’ Pedro Acosta will have a “Get Out” clause in his KTM contract
Acosta has a two -year factory deal with KTM, but after testing before the season, it has left more questions about whether the 20 -year -old can be power at the front of the race.
Acosta is “really angry” in the KTM amid the financial crisis, which could ask him to look elsewhere if his RC16 has no performance.
Speaking to OMG! The MotoGP YouTube channel, commentator Keith Huewen is “pretty sure” that Acosta will have a “Get Out” clause in his contract.
“I would like to be a fly on the wall about its administration, because the administration has hoped that it got this contract completely nailed when it comes to, where it moves, how it can move.
“KTM put him Obsbioutly for a perennial contract I have on my list here, so obviously they took him for two years plus an option [of a further year].
“There will be a Get-out clause somewhere, I’m pretty sure of it. It’s a two-way contract with a contract. If KTM does not run because they don’t go money, I’m pretty sure that Acosta will have a child of the clause where he gets him out of there.
“But where else will he go? Again, he has the performance this year or has not gone anywhere.

Pedro Acosta may miss a “Full-Spec” bike in 2026
Pit Beirer is convinced that KTM can give Acosta a bike he won – but he also admitted that the team would not hold him after two years if they could not.
Acosta was steadily the fastest KTM rider in pre-session, stressing how talented the Spaniard is. It is the rising star of MotoGP and will be devastating for the Austrian uniform to lose it.
Unfortunately, the future seems gloom for 20 -year -olds in KTM. Acosta may lose a “full spec” bike come 2026 as a result of the financial suffering.
Acosta tried to hide his frustration with the 2025 bike after problems. With the problems that are coming now and certainly in the future, his days at KTM could be numbered.
