‘Perfect’ Pedro Acosta Sunss Neil Hodgson in ‘Scary’ Point Duration Thai Grand Prix Sprint

Ducati took where Bologna’s bullets fell, dominating the first 2025 sprint race at The Thai Grand Prix, but the new star KTM Pedro Acosta was surprised by Neil Hodgson.

Marc Marquez set an early index after his step up to Ducati from Gresini, as the six -time MotoGP champion, the sprint match at the Thai Grand Prix in front of Alex Won’s younger brother. The Francesco Bagnaia factory rider rounded up the podiums in third place.

Champion Ai Ogura was the highest non-Ducati Rider, as Trackhouse Racing ACE came home to P4 with Aprilia RS-GP25 in Buriram, followed by Franco Morbidelli of VR46. Acosta was the best KTM rider in the Sprint race in Thailand, but only the tok sixth place in his RC16.

Pedro Acosta stuns Neil Hodgson with “Perfect” Pass in Brad Binder in the Sprint Thai race

Acosta taught the checkered flag for 11 seconds from Marquez, forcing the parts through Sprint Racing at 2025 Thai Grand Prix. The KTM rider was Austrian brand’s best rider in Priceing with the P7, but slipped in 10th place in the opening round around Buriram.

But the 20 -year -old didn’t need to start making some progress, with passes on Raul Fernandez and his KTM Brad Binder teammate. The Spanish move to his partner in 3 or 13 of the Spaniard, as a special anesthetized Hodgson after pulling a passage to a “scary” point in the buriram circuit.

Acosta took his new KTM RC16 plant until Early Out from Turn 3’s hairpin to get running on the Binder for T4 before hitting his machine underneath South Africa to proceed to P8. Hodgson was unable to believe that Moto3 and 2023 Moto2 champion dared a dive on T4.

“Sure not here?” Hodgson said Tnt sports 2 (01/03, 08:07). ‘You advise there, it’s a blind top [and] It gets the weight from the tires, which makes it quite scary. And overthrow about 130 miles / hour. There was a lot of space, but Acosta made it perfect.

Acosta has set an early index at the KTM Factory Racing Garage, not only finished in front of the connecting material, but also pulling a striking pass to the 29 -year -old in his first race since he climbed Tech3. Binder could only finish the sprint on P8 as Acosta came home to P6.

KTM also saw Acosta open a three -second divide to Binder after passing the Prime Minister’s Grand Prix winner with a bold dive on T4. It is almost the best possible start that Acosta could hope for his factory debut and almost the worst that Binder would be afraid of.

The fight against Ducatis for Glory has always been unlikely as Acosta reluctantly admitted that KTM still had a conversation after testing before the season. So being KTM’s best rider in the qualifying and the race, while his young teammate was passing, was the best that Acosta could hope.
