Ogura enjoys a very strong start of his career at MotoGP in Buriram after qualifying fifth place for Thailand’s Grand Prix and returning to P4 in the sprint race. The Japanese talent Esside amazed Guintoli with his launch, as Ogura overcame Jack Miller of Pramac Yamaha.
Said Guintoli Tnt sports 2 (01/03, 08:36): “What is starting! I guess he doesn’t know why it’s his first beginning and when you don’t know, you’ve just been up. It was incredible. Around the outside, I mean, really?
“Most of these guys are veterans. They are here forever and block the interior and they are just like,” Well, I’ll just go [around the] sixth [and] Release the brakes to my new tires, it doesn’t matter. It’s not enough until pressure, it doesn’t matter. ” Impressive!
Ai Ogura was only 0.969 seconds from a maiden podium sprint in his Buriram debut

Miller hit Ogura in just 0.044 seconds to qualify for his P4 debut for Pramac after joining the De Facto second Yamaha team after being released by KTM. However, Aussie did not get a good start, as Franco Morbidelli seemed to pass both Miller and Ogura from the beginning of the P6.
But Ogura was also wise for Miller’s slower launch from the line, so Ace Trackhouse quickly moved abroad for Series 1, as Morbidelli or VR46 claimed the interior. It was an inspirational decision, as Ogura could release his brake and sail around Miller to claim the P4 from bending.
Neil Hodgson named Ogura starts “super offensive” for the comment on TNT Sports in Buriram. His run to the P4 on the carrot flag, just 4,392 seconds behind Marquez, further saw Hodgson Praise Trackhouse for Ogura’s signature, such as Francesco Bagnaia for the P3.
