Ai Ogura produced the best MotoGP debut from Marquez in 2013, as TrackHouse champion threw fifth place at 2025 Thai Grand Prix.
The Premier Class has not seen a pilot debut as well as Ogura in Buriram by Marquez Tok a podium in third place for Honda in the 2013 era that opens the Qatar Grand Prix. He continued to win the MotoGP Riders title that year, and Marquez could lift the seventh this season.
Marquez dominated the 2025 Thai GP not only to win his Ducati debut, but also to bag a hat-trick with a pole position and the Sprint Race victory. The Spanish performance in Buriram saw Francesco Bagnaia seeing the title opponents of Ducati after the Thai GP with Ducati riders.
Ogura ensured that Marquez did not claim all the titles, he thought, as Trackhouse champion was amazed at the MotoGP debut. His fifth place in Thai GP was not a single Fluke, as the 24 -year -old was identified on the P5 (0.352s OFF Pole) and finished the sprinting sprint at Buriram on the P4.

Ai Ogura admits that the trackhouse’s recruit still fights with a linguistic barrier
Ogura equally surprised Marquez at The Thai GP, with the new Ducati rider, after learning about the Japanese ace at Buriram. Moto2 champion of 2024 was the top Non-Ducati rider and ended with a 7.517s gap at Aprilia Rider, Marco Bezzecchi.

It was a debut performance that put a lot of people in alert, with Ogura the only recruiter in the 2025 MotoGP grid without a factory contract. But his life with trackhouse is not perfect in every aspect, as Ogura still fights with a linguistic obstacle with the American team.
“I can’t talk with my crew the way I would like,” Ogura said Rapid week. “I can’t explain what’s going on on the track. But I learn English.
An option to help Ogura’s situation would be to hire a translator fluent in English, but this would not be a simple work for Trackhouse’s talent because of the particularities of MotoGP. Ogura added: “He had to speak perfect English and have a technical understanding.”
2025 Argentina Grand Prix is a much larger test for AI OGURA than in Buriram
Ogura will hope that his linguistic obstacle with TrackHouse will not prove to be detrimental when the MotoGP calendar continues next weekend with the return of Argentina’s Grand Prix. The race returns to the program this year, as MotoGP had to cancel its scheduled visit during the last term.
The 2025 season that started with the Thai Grand Prix was extremely beneficial to the recruitment, as MotoGP also conducted a two-day two-day break in Buriram in front of the race. Ogura also ran well at Buriram at Moto2, covered with P2 in 2024 after the coming P6 in 2022 and P5 in 2023.
Ogura also did not arrive at Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo through his Argentine GP visits to Moto2 and Moto3. While the Japanese rider came third at 2022 Moto2 met, only won the P17 in the 2019 Moto3 match and could not start in 2023 due to injury.
