Pedro Acosta enjoyed a mega rookie in MotoGP last year. The Spaniard presented because it is one of the top talents of the sport.

Having an impression career in the lower categories, many would not expect that the impact would be made by Acosta in the Prime Minister’s class in 2024.

Horse riding with KTM Tech3 satellite team, the 20 -year -old ended an incredible sixth in the league. Acosta was just two degrees behind the factory and future Brad Binder.

Moving on to the KTM factory team for 2025, Acosta would have learned a lot from the championship season – and hopes to bring one thing in this season that he “forgot” for the last year.

The Spaniard could have achieved much more in 2024 if it was not for many accidents – though this may be expected by a beginner.

Acosta had four retirements during the season, with a thug that hit the sprint in Australia that excluded him from the main race. Speech SleevelessThe KTM rider admitted that he “forgot” how to “keep calm” in 2024.

“At MotoGP you need more brain. That’s clear,” he said. “But it’s not the brain. It’s not talent. It’s not for b-. It’s a combination of many things.”

Asked which of these is the most important, he replied: “Keep calm. But this is not something I learned last season, I learned it from an early age to forget the course.

‘I speak a lot with Aki [Ajo] And that’s exactly what I missed sometimes last season – keep calm. Keep calm, man! I mean, the race is simple if we keep it simple.

“Maybe they will arrive at a time when it becomes so diffress for my mind. But now I get it easy: to have fun, ride and enjoy horseback riding. We have to keep it calm.

Unfortunately for Acosta, his crash has insisted in 2025. The Spaniard fell from his RC16 at the Grand Prix of Thailand, letting him climb the P19 house.

KTM suffered from a “scary” test behind the back of the tire in the buriram circuit with the Michelin rubber to fasten into the hot conditions. Acosta had almost a “rider safety issue” with his bike because of the problem.

It was a disappointing weekend overall for KTM – but the team saw some encouraging signs. The ACOSTA crew says he had top five when he returned to his RC16, highlighting his talent in the top class.

Pit Beirer compared Acosta’s work ethics with Michael Schumacher, as the Spaniard is looking for a “step further” and find any advantage.
