The extra data received by Ducati from Pramac, Gresini and VR46 often gave their steady riders a huge advantage, as their engineers had fixed resources to see where bicycles could improve between Fridays.

Yamaha was neglected to do the same, while the RNF matches were their satellite uniform for the 2022 MotoGP era after the renewal of Petronas SRT. Without having satellite crews in 2023 or 2024, they put Yamaha even more at a disadvantage in Ducati, as well as KTM and Aprilia.
