What Ducati engineers said “from record” about the MotoGP bike before Marquez’s integration

Ducati has every reason to be excited about the 2025 era, as they clearly have the fastest bike on MotoGP.

A two -year engine freezing as part of the concession system will also make it difficult for both KTM and Aprilia to close the gap in them before the new MotoGP regulations in 2027.

Ducati was an imposing duration of the first race of the season, winning the Thai Grand Prix comfortably with three of their bikes on the podium.

The new Marc Marquez rider enjoyed a stellar debut, winning wins both in Sprint and the main tribes. Now she sits eight points clearly over the brother Alex at the top of the riders’ championship.

Marquez made an amazing acceptance for Ducati after the race in Thailand, revealing that he felt slow on his bike.

Francesco Bagnaia’s teammate was “embarrassed” by Marquez’s strategy and how easily he was able to handle the race. It could be a sign of how dominant as the bike is and the rider.

The art of competition includes secrecy and giving your opponents as little as possible. When they drive with the greatest possible advantage like Ducati during the last seasons, they want to be as Gatekeep as much as possible.

Ducati has failed to perfect the braking of the “very thin” engine with the new GP25 Feal tests before the season. He forced them to reversing the GP24 engine for the next two years.

GP24 is an excellent bike and adjusts the standard last season. Ducati’s engineers knew this when it was released, but chose to downplay its differences compared to GP23 at that time.

Alberto Gomez reports that only the trusts were informed by the archive of how different the GP24 specifications were prescribed by his predecessor last year.

“The face to face with microphones and the media, the Ducati crew leader said that the bike from 23 ‘to 24’ was very close and there many people who bought it out on other podcasts and other places,” he said.

“That of us who was with some others, everyone told you in a closed microphone and from the record, they said to you,” Hi, come on, you can’t say it, but these two bicycles have a different between a Ducati and a Yamaha. That was the reality.

Ducati had some time to evaluate the suitability of the GP25 package before making a huge decision to keep it for the next two years.

Three days in Sepang, followed by two more in Buriram, they saw them conclude that they could make more performance and had more confidence in their earlier standards.

The Michele Pirro test rider drove the bike and gave a positive appreciation of the machinery, but failed to locate one thing.

Pirro lost a key issue of Ducati Bagnaia immediately felt away from the optimum engine braking adjustment. Despite trying to find a solution, they were not comfortable enough to move on with their upgrades.

They invested a lot of time and effort in the GP25, which would make a little disappointing to reject, but won if they continued to win every week.
