Dorna leader is “very ambitious” the acceptance of Liberty Media’s MotoGP suggestions

Liberty Media is trying to complete the acquisition of MotoGP in 2025 after almost a year of negotiations.

Liberty wants to have the same success in MotoGP. The first rumors have suggested that the Select Grand Prix will be placed on the same weekend as the F1 matches, which will expose the sport to new fans.

However, Liberty’s agreement is still waiting for the approach. The acquisition is subject to research by the European Union, as it concerns that the acquisition could limit competition in transmission and flow markets.

Asked if he felt that the delay was more than expected, Rossomondo replied: “Well, no more than the experts awaiting, what about it. More than I expected, yes.

“The initial timetable to approve the deal was very aggressive and very aligned. You know eight months to watch out for it.
