Marc Marquez has already made a huge impression on Ducati since joining the team in 2025.

The six -time MotoGP champion moved to the Gresini factory team last season after enjoying his 2019 title win. Marquez finished third in the GP23 with three wins and 10 depths.

Speaking to Motorsport/Com Espana, journalist Oriol Puigdemont says some people on Ducati “surprised” by Marquez’s impact on the team.

With the highlight of today’s Valentino Rossi, Puigdemont says they have been “surprised” by “Boom” Marquez has created.

“I want to say, we saw it in Malaysia. We saw the expectation that it was producing and let’s not forget one thing,” he said.

Driving the GP25 with the 2024 engine, Marquez has a huge opportunity to match the Rossi record with seven MotoGP titles. Ducati bikes have won everything except one race in 2024 and are going to have another dominant year this year.
