Massimo Rivola shares how Marco Bezzecchi feels in the absence of Jorge Martin in April

MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin was absent as riders were assembled for the photo of the network in front of the Thai Grand Prix. Martin was ruled out after fresh injuries this week.

Aprilia’s bike, which brought the number one plate, was placed on the front of the grid between the rider Ducati Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia. But there was a vacant – a rather painful picture of Massimo Rivola and Co.

Martin was already a doubt about the Buriram race after a serious highside on the first day of the Sepang test. With fractures in his right hand and his left foot, he had to return to Europe for surgery.

Earlier this week, the Spaniard conducted a training on a motorcycle bike to establish its strength levels. Martin tried to “prove himself” by chasing the round times, and fell as he fell again.

Absence in Thailand, also almost certain to lose the second race in Argentina. In fact, Martin may take three months to fully cure.

With the test rider Lorenzo Savadori replacing him, Aprilia’s hopes are mainly based on Marco Bezzecchi. The Italian completed a complete test program after being transitioned from VR46.

Massimo Rivola insists Marco Bezzecchi enjoys “pressure” in April with Jorge Martin Out

Speech The father of the fight Channel, Rivola tried to restore Aprilia’s optimism for the new season. They arrived at Sepang full of excitement after the coup.

Rivola derives hope from Bezzecchi’s performances in testing before the season. The triple winner of the first division suffered a difficult 2024, but seems refreshing after taking a factory contract.

The narrative is that Bezzecchi is under more pressure with Martin Unavillable. April could lose decisive ground over their opponents if it does not deliver.

But Rivola insists that the rider of 72 enjoys additional responsibility. He saw him annoyed and not frustrated.

“I have to be happy with what we are worried that we have seen Mark really in very good shape and honestly. I have a very good expectation for him,” Rivola said. “We see in the tests. It was really good.

“Now the pressure is there. I don’t see him under pressure at all. It seems that this child of hey pressure to have.

Massimo Rivola hopes Marco Bezzecchi proves him exactly at Thailand’s Grand Prix after Aprilia Gamble

Rivola has already warned Martin that Bezzecchi will try him Serioutly when he returns. Based on last season, the first was the heavy favorite for the Intra-Team battle, but now the landscape has changed.

Martin will be in a significant mileage deficit and one would imagine that he would still breastfeed pain and discomfort for at least his first tribes. It now seems likely that Bezzecchi will further complete the table.

It’s not yet to know where exactly Aprilia is. They will hope, at least, to be Ducati’s closest challenge, with a reduced gap compared to 2024.

Rivola had to persuade the Aprilia hierarchy to sign Bezzecchi, whose derogatory displays last year (among Michelin tires) stitched Doubs. If it delivers a great result to Buriram, this will be forgotten immediately.
