Maverick Vinales and Eneaa Bastianini made his debut for Tech3 as KTM factory riders at the Grand Prix of 2025 after moving to satellite outfit for the new MotoGP season.

But the Buriram race was not a positive event for both pilots, as it was their new life in Orange. While Bastianini came home to P9 as the second best KTM rider in the Thai GP, just behind the work of the Runner Brad Binder, all that Vinales would secure was P16 and out of points.

Pedro Acosta also failed to score points in his debut with the factory’s KTM team on the P19, after the Spaniard crashed as the rear of his RC16 was unloaded under the brake in the first turn on the 26th round.

However, Vinales was not from Bastianini’s rhythm all weekend as they made his debut for Tech3 after the signature of KTM projects. Now, Vinales told KTM Tech3 to investigate whether the choice of Bastianini tires has caused it to improve.
